1. Who we are

Cogorium is an independent app studio. We build consumer apps including Tabledex (a board game companion) and Bluro (a group travel planner). This privacy policy covers all Cogorium apps and the cogorium.com website.

2. The short version

• We do not track your behaviour across sessions or devices.
• We do not sell your data to anyone.
• We do not build profiles to serve you targeted advertising.
• We do not use third-party behavioural analytics SDKs.
• Network features use your data only for the specific feature — nothing else.
• You can use most features without creating an account.

3. Tabledex

Tabledex is designed to work offline. The vast majority of its features — rule lookup, dice roller, score pad, quick-start guides — work with no network connection and require no account.

What stays on your device:

• Score history
• Favourite games
• App preferences and settings
• Downloaded rule content (cached locally)

What uses the network:

• Downloading rule content updates (anonymous, no account linked)
• Live score rooms — temporary, session-based sync shared by code. Session data expires when the room closes.

Live score room data is not stored after the session ends. We do not log or retain score data tied to individuals.

4. Bluro

Bluro is a coordination app. It requires network access to work — that's inherent to sharing trip plans with a group.

What we store and why:

• Group membership and invitations — to manage access
• Messages within groups — to deliver them to members
• Votes on dates and destinations — to display results
• Shared photos — to show them to group members
• Trip details — to coordinate the trip

What we do not do with that data:

• We do not analyse your group conversations for advertising purposes.
• We do not build behavioural profiles from your activity.
• We do not share your group data with third parties.
• We do not use it for anything outside the features you used.

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

5. This website (cogorium.com)

The cogorium.com website does not use third-party analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics). We may use basic server-side request logs (standard web server behaviour) that include IP addresses. These are not linked to individuals, are not shared, and are retained for no longer than 30 days.

We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not run advertising networks or retargeting pixels on this site.

6. Third-party services

Where we use third-party services for infrastructure (e.g., cloud hosting, push notifications), those services operate under their own privacy policies. We select services that are data-minimising and do not use your data for advertising. We will list any material third-party services used in specific apps on their respective product pages.

We do not integrate social login, social share buttons, or advertising networks.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you. We support these rights regardless of your jurisdiction — it's the right thing to do.

8. Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll note the updated date at the top and, where appropriate, notify users through the app. We will never weaken the privacy protections described here without clear, prominent notice.
